Information for Maddie & Lily's Transport
Prior to Transport
Please take the time to fill out our
Contract for services:
and our Emergency Authorization Form:Information for Murphy's Crate and Accessories
UPDATE
Accessories will be delivered on Thursday, August 13th and the crate will be delivered on Friday, August 14th
I have order Murphy's crate from Amazon, however it is backordered. Estimated Delivery is the end of August. If I don't see any change in status by Aug. 12th, I will find a different place to order it from.Once you receive Murphy's crate, please find a place in your home to set it up and leave the door either open or off to begin with. (Also leave the wheels off, so it doesn't roll). Preferably in a common area that you spend time in. This will help him acclimate to it prior to transport.Playing YouTube videos of sounds of an airport will also help, turning them up loud when you are perhaps in another room once in a awhile. Another way to help get him acclimated to some of the smells and sounds he will experience on his trip is to take him to a home improvement store, such as Lowes or Home Depot. Try to get him around some of the forklifts, as it's similar to what many airports use.Vaccines Required For Thailand
- Rabies
- Canine Distemper
- Infectious Hepatitis
- Canine Parvovirus
- Canine Parainfluenza
- LeptospirosisFor all vaccines - at least one dose must be administered at least 22 days before Travel*PLEASE NOTE: The Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo are often combined and shown as DHPP, DAPP, or DA2PP or something similar, depending on which vaccines may have been included. Some are 5 in 1 that also include Parainfluenza and Leptospirosis*If Murphy is not current on all of the vaccines, please make an appointment and have those given asap, preferably before September 15th, 2026If you need to find an accredited Veterinarian for the Health Certificate, you can search herePlease note:
Thailand is considered a high-risk rabies country. I would strongly suggest you get a new 3-year rabies vaccine for Murphy, prior to travel. Then have your Vet submit it to the USDA for endorsement. This will save a lot of time and money should you need to come back at any time in the next three years.
Unfortunately, we can not complete the Rabies Vaccine Endorsement form in our VEHCS system, it can only be done by an accredited Vet. We don't even have the option in our system. Instructions for your Vet are HEREForms Needed For Transport:
Valid Rabies Certificate
USDA Endorsed Health Certificate
R1 Import FormRabies Certificate must include Murphy's Microchip Number, Vaccine Name, Manufacturer, Lot Number, and signed in ink by the VetAround September 15th, we will need all of the vaccine records and proof of microchip, so we can complete the R1 Import Form for Thailand and send it in for approval. Please make an appointment on October 8th or 9th , 2026 for Murphy's USDA Health Certificate Exam. We will complete most of it prior to the exam, attach our payment account, and a pre-paid shipping label and send it to your Vet in the VEHCS system prior to the appointment. That way, after the appointment, your Vet will only need to complete a few checkboxes then submit it to the USDA for endorsement.
